Pauline Wiltshire lives in Stockport and was a Senior Biomedical Scientist in Virology. After a 25 years' service to the Public Health, she resigned to become a full time artist.

She is a member of the Vernon Mill Artists in Stockport and has a studio in Bay 27F on the third Floor. Vernon Mill is an old cotton mill in Stockport, Cheshire (close to J27 of the M60 motorway) and houses over 50 artists.

Pauline has exhibited in Manchester, Stockport, Buxton, Wales & France and has had solo exhibitions in Derby & Stockport. She has work in private collections in Spain, Canada, France & throughout the UK.

She has also had work accepted for the John Moores, Stockport, Buxton and Derby open exhibitions.

Pauline has been painting for 26 years and has gradually moved from representation to something entirely different.
She paints instinctively, moving the materials around until she gets an image that pleases her; unfortunately she doesn't know what that is until she sees it.

Pauline's preferred media are acrylic paint, collage & oil pastels, but any material that makes a mark may be incorporated in to a piece of work. She would describe her work as quirky and a bit unconventional.

Please feel free e-mail Pauline at email if you wish to purchase any of the art work you see on this site, she is available for commissions.
